Zine
What is a zine? its basically a magazine. What I did for my zine was states and what they were famous for. Why I picked states was because it sounded interesting and fun to find out what they were known for. I thought this project was pretty fun because we got plenty of time to work on it and you didn't feel rushed and it was just fun to see what everyone was doing. It was a little difficult trying to put 30 different patterns into the whole thing and try not to repeat but it was over all fun.
Etching
what we did for this project was we found a picture that we took and liked and then we etched it meaning we made scartches into this thing to make the picture. After we finished our etching we put black ink over it then took a paper amd pressed them together and our picture printed onto the paper and we had to do that 5 times and then water color one of them.
For this project we printed out a picture of our self's and coped it onto another paper after that we copied it onto a lino-cut block and then we carved out the pieces that were white and then we got different colors and mixed some together then printed our screen. I liked this project because it was fun to carve and to mix the different colors together and roll onto the block.
For this project we had to make t shirt designs and we had groups so we would pick one design and print on a t shirt. this project was fun making the design because mine got picked but it was also kind've annoying because the design we made didn't come out exaclty how we wanted but it still looked good.

this project was called mono printing. What we did first was picked out something to print so like squares, just a bunch of random shapes, hearts bring much anything then we took these jelly plates and we had to pick out three different colors that went with each other and one color and different shades of it and roll the colors one at a time on the jelly print then we would lay our shapes out on the jelly plate and press our paper down on it to make the print and we just did that 3 times till the print was done.
